It's a shame that Calzaghe still isn't getting the credit he deserved. I'm not saying he beat a prime Jones, far from it. But Joe is simply a great fighter, no doubting that at all.

Whats that got to do with anything? I never commented on how good Tyson was, or was perceived to be. I merely said that Lewis got credit for beating him when he was shot.

You only become great by beating great prime fighters not a 67yr old one eyed Roy.What makes it worse is Roy even knocked this guy down.

Tarver KOd Roy,so did Johnson and then the Slapper of Wales couldnt, how can we call him great

There are no excuses for Roy. He was beaten and beaten soundly. The verdict is in. Calzaghe was always the man to beat....and nobody ever has. Calzaghe is going to the Hall of Fame will be considered an All Time Great, whether you like it or not.

One of the best fights I've ever seen - complete with exciting milieu, shocking first round knockdown, come from behind victory, stunning performance, good sportsmanship, excellent referee, and honest judging!

Calzaghe could ko Chad Dawson with a slap, and still not get credit on this forum filled with tards.

Roy Jones last night was a shell of his former self.

And it's funny how theses Calzaghe fans come out of the woodwork(you know who you are!) after not being active on here for months but low and behold, a day after the night before they're here to brag.

              Hope you're all having fun!

So you're not going to give Joe respect for the win?

A great fighter. One of the top 3 British of all time in any weight.

He career could have been even better, had he not been unlucky with numerous injuries and not milked by Frank Warren early on he could have faced bigger fights earlier. But that takes nothing away from him and what he's doing now. But he has beaten everyone he has boxed and that is all he can do. 46-0.

He is an old fashioned fighter. He doesn't have an entourage of yes men and various coachs and experts, he doesn't need that. He has and needs only his dad working his backside off. No rubbish, no flashness just good old solid boxing.

He has amazing mental strength and confidence, lots of nerve and bottle and an iron chin. He can take a punch, he has great speed, has proven he can get up off the floor and win. He has great workrate, stamina and an awkward southpaw style that both confuses and causes problems for the other fighter. And he has a very underrated boxing brain and the ability to change tactics during the fight, in fact just fight off his natural instincts and judge how to win that way. It's proven that it works.

And one more thing that people miss or overlook - Joe Calzaghe is a killer. He is a quiet man outside the ring but inside he is a killer, he is ruthless.
