And Popkins was trying to cheat in that fight; going down to regain energy, taking forever to come out of the corner, prolonging hugs, delaying ref breaks and all sorts of nasty stuff. It was a shameful performance by Popkins and only a biased judge like that dumb ***** would give the fight to him.

    Keep in mind that Roy's reign was 10x more dominant and that's important.
    Also, are y'all forgetting that Roy and Popkins did actually fight each other?!
    We all know what happened there.

    Ask any expert;
    Who's got a greater legacy?!
    Who's a greater fighter?!
    Who will be remembered in the long run?!
    They will all tell you the same thing...

    ESPN, The Associated Press, Brian Kenny, yahoo sports, and Dan Rafael are some of the people who scored it for Hopkins.

      i was going to reply to S.G., but you beat me to it.

      i also felt bad for roy last night. i also agree that he needs to pack it in. he has been knockedout twice(one of those i thought he wouldn't recover form..maybe he didn't), and now he takes a beating....i don't want to see what's next...

        You lost me there.

        Facts can be proven. Jones lost to Tarver 2 times.

        EXAMPLE: Jones UD> Hopkins while closer to their primes
        & Calzaghe beat Jones when he was 39 and faded.

          Jones "reinvented exciting boxing"? Wow.

          As for this being different to Jones's prime then who was it who said all along THAT JONES WAS WASHED UP IN THIS FIGHT?

            What's this about Bore Hard enjoying Roy getting ****ed up? Where did I have to look to see that?

              It IS surprising how quickly Roid got used to losing though. He practically gave Joe a reach around.
