Al Bernstein stated it when Dawson was fighting Ruiz, he was talking about Jesus Ruiz had been inactive but had not was somehow still ranked at 15. Commentators always checks their facts before saying things. I also remember how they were talking about how Paul Briggs ( who was about top 8 at the time) backed out and Ruiz was just a last minute replacement.

Another thing is that ring magazine does go past 10, its just that the 10 is the only thing that they show in the magazine.

good wins but so whats your point? lacy is lacy. he was an overrated slugger with little defensive skill. he is no top fighter. kessler is a very good fighter but seriously who has HE beaten? these fighters were never considered elite. maybe in the weak 168 pound weight class but not p4p. dawson has beaten glen johnson who iced roy jones a few years ago. not only knocked out but dominated. and he beat tarver who knocked out and dominated roy jones as well.
