but on the reals props to joe he handled roy from start to finish... the 3rd round was just embaressing for Roy, Joe strait up embarssed Roy in that round, hands down pretty much face to face and Roy wouldnt swing... wtf was that about... but whatever Roy is still the man
Roy is finished... He is shot, I don't care what anyone says...

Roy has lost some of his speed and reflexes. Joe would have given him a good fight in Roy's prime, but would have needed to be more defensive-minded and keep his hands up. Joe has lost some of the power he showed against Mitchell, Eubank, etc., but his reflexes are still very good for a man almost age 37.Comment

"I have no interest any more in Roy Jones and no interest in Antonio Tarver. Jones is washed up and Tarver was never that good anyway, he just caught Jones when Jones was shot and Johnson did the same."
-"No Ordinary Joe" by Mr Joe Calzaghe
Oh well..you can't fault Joe's generosity in providing an ready-made excuse for Roy,in the case of him meeting Calzaghe and losing.Comment

dude speaking of your avie, she was looking damn cute at the fight did anyone else see that... MAANNNNNNComment

Jones would've stopped Calzaghe fairly easy 6-8 years ago. You could see that in the 1st, and 2nd rounds the way Calzaghe was freezing up and getting hit.Comment

Im a calzaghe fan but its his own fault that he never fought a prime Roy. He should have went to the states in his late twenties but stayed in the UK for the paydays. Roy was the man! it was up to joe to go to america an force the fight, which he could have easily done.
IMO Roy would have destroyed him. He would have last night if he went all out for the KO.Comment
