Weighing in 177 and still be good for a fight at 175 is surely very discriminative.

Tarver ko'ed Jones in two and people called that lucky.

Tunney, I am not saying it's right, but people are fans and tend to let their emotions get the better of them after a fight and post emotional but irrational stuff.

going by that reasoning, many people could hate Abraham because a lot of them thought that Miranda was robbed in his first fight with Abraham.

            And many did.

But what I have a problem with is him being dissed after a dominant performance.

              Don't forget Wright!

He did get hated on for his win over Ouma, which was pretty indisputable though.

And hey, it might just be bitter Miranda fans who are starting this **** talking on Abraham. If you have any good names on your resume as a fighter, you have likely earned a few haters, because good names have fans, and fans can turn bitter.

It's not different than people who complained about Mayweather-Baldomir.

I think people dissing Mayweather and Abraham in those instances are ******... I mean, really... why go above and beyond when your current level of effort is more than getting the job done?

There really is a double standard - to me it's clear and obvious.

If I talk about how Lewis (Holyfield I) and Ngoudjo (Malignaggi) were robbed by New York judges, they can't call me a racist because those were black fighters, so then I'm just "anti-American"...

There must be 1000 posts saying "robbery!" for every time an American fighter has lost a decision in a foreign country, but I shouldn't DARE make a single post about all the fights like Meehan-Brewster, Sturm-De La Hoya, Castillo-Mayweather where the foreign fighter was robbed or the American got a gift decision, or then I must hate Americans.

Why not treat everybody the same regardless of where they are from?
You already are! But if you feel something is wrong just say what bothers you. Don't be afraid to look like a ****, you are one!

No doubt, and many members of the US media are just as guilty.

it is pretty dumb, especially considering Marquez was a mandatory and not a horrible fighter.

but people did the same thing when Taylor dominated Ouma. no, Taylor did not knock him out, but I would consider that Ouma to be better than a 37 year old Marquez. they both moved up from 154, so I think the situations are pretty comparable.

its common practice for people on this website to overreact about everything. Which isnt that big a deal to me. I just consider them enthusiastic.
