A channel like NBC, ABC or CBS should ick up boxing. I mean NBC dedicates most of Sunday and Monday to football (american). So why not give 2 hours to boxing in one of those channels. If boxing was to be picked up by either of those channels believe me boxings popularity would more than triple.

I mean if they would promote the shows better and reduce the prize of the tickets.. maybe this wouldn't happen.
They usually don't market the show or it's upcoming shows.. so they have poor attendance and then to top it off.. I looked online and it said the cheapest tickets where 15 bucks. I get there and they are trying to charge you like 36 bucks to stand all the way in the back!
If the tickets would have been 15 instead of 36 to stand, the whole gym would have went as they always do when one of our fighters fights on a card.
Instead, it drove everyone away because the majority of them are kids and don't have the bank to be spending almost 40 bucks to stand.

Also, with the viewership.. telefutura is owned by the same company as Univision.
Why not market on Univision and get Republica Deportiva involved?? You know they have mad love for boxing and always make an effort to include it in the show.
Also, the quality of fights a lot of times was lacking on Solo Boxeo. More competetive fights instead of up and comer vs some tomato can would of helped.

This IS a huge blow to boxing. soooo many fight fans dont have cable and now they cant watch fights. a lot of us take forgranted that we can afford these computers and internet connections were on right now. i know alot of folks who just cant pay for those things. and they the ones taking the hit. this is very sad........boxing was once a poor mans sport, and now its non existant with out paying for it......the sport i love is failing its fans.

what the hell!!! I loved that show!!!

All I can say is that I pray that all the matchups that could have happened on Solo Boxeo will now happen on Friday Night Fights. hell, put some of the events on HBO or Showtime. they produced some kickass fights.

maybe Versus could some of them up too?

                    What the f#$%!?!?!?!?

So...where exactly are we suppose to watch boxing!? Is HBO or Showtime gonna pick up the slack????

I mean first it's eliteXC...that FAT CHODE Gary Shaw basically got caught cheating without being caught, and that whole franchise is done. (Waits for Shaw to try and ruin Angulo's career cause this Mexican just called him a fat Chode lolzzz), and now Solo Boxeo is done!? Raul Martinez was suppose to fight this month!

This is some bull****, Solo Boxeo gave me heads up on alot of fighters I like to watch and they're just gonna cancel this ****.

                    Thats some weak ****.

This show has given us some of the current champions....this really blows! Guys like Pavlik, Juanma Lopez, Israel Vazquez and more have fought in their cards. They should move this show to ESPN or Versus and do it in English...those guys both speak English.
