    he did good.

watching freitas quit was one of the sadest things i even saw..i dont mean boo hoo sad i mean pathetic...he won like 7 rounds then just to quit when he was still in it..i mean thats crap...look no ones wants to see a fighter like that...look at why gatti as so many fans( i am one)..gatti has lost before and we know he's not the best- and has gotten KTFO..but he went into it with heart he goes to war before quiting...if freitas after 3rd KD would have gotten up and went to war with diego..and lets say he would have gotten ko'ed...the next day all over internet it would have read..frietas losses but show great heart..instead of "frietas quits".."frietas does a duran"

...i mean thats was just crap,,,no one wants to see a fighter like that and i feel sorry for his true fans and people from brazil that had to see that (i wanted him to win so i kinda know how it feels)...another thing is no chanel or promter/trainer wants a boxer who is good ..but when KD quits..i mean that just not boxing...freitas can only do one thing..and thats KO diego or beat him to get his rep back..but even at that it will be hard for people to forget what he did..he was ok!...but thats boxing..heart saids a lot about someone...but hearts saids a lot more to fans and boxing lovers..whether you will watch that fighter again or not

Freitas sitaution is worse than Duran because Duran was able to bring himself up.

Every person have there highs and lows and that is life. and that night was not Freitas night.

They was for him to regain himself is by people supporting him like his family. He will comeback and maybe be a better fighter.

There is alway life outside boxing you have to think of.

Even though the other knockdowns were more brutal than the last, the last knock-down he suffered was behind the ear...it seemed to me at the time that when he got up, took a few steps, then waived it off, he probably had blurry vision, dizziness, ringing in the ear, or something on those lines...that or he just said, "**** this, next time I might not be getting back up"

It could of gotten worse, maybe if he did continue he could of been another casuality to the sport.

People seem to forget that he he got up from some brutal knock-downs before he quit...he could of just stayed down after the first one that dropped him flat on his back and acted like he was sleeping like so many others have, till the ref waived off the fight, but he didn't. In the last knockdown he could of just stayed down, but he didn't. It seems it was OK for others, like Arguello, but not Freitas.

Maybe he is a "Coward" in some eyes for "quitting", but he is still more of a man than the norm...at least he had the balls to step into the ring...when he got knocked down from some brutal shots, he got up, but it was just to much for him to go on.

There is that unwritten rule that says, "You never give up, no matter what", but **** happens...that written rule will not replace a father to a family, but then again maybe you should find another line of work

I agree with you in here.

could be he got something that is not visiable. Nigel Benn vs Gman the Gman looked okay intell he went into his corner.

nobody could know Freitas sitaution in that fight inless he was in his shoe

I think Chico was the one who gave him a reason for quitting, LOL.
