ROY is one of the greatest, moving from MW to HW isnt a move any boxer can do.

If ever Joe Ko's Roy we should give him the best credit, beating the man who moved from MW to HW with slaps is also a thing every boxer can attain.

James Toney went from MW to HW. I think he held some version of an alpha belt but yes not everyone can do it and look good at it. I know CHris Byrd went from like SMW or LHW to HW Champ right?

By the same token, the Jones supporters are trying to act like Roy is a corpse in case Calzaghe beats him heavily. So if Roy does well or wins, it will look like a bigger triumph.

I dont think either guy is what they once were. But Calzaghe has more fundamental tools to increase longevity whereas Jones relied heavily on speed and reflexes

So the fact that I've been on here ranting about Jones being shot since at LEAST Johnson means I've been trying to discredit Joe the whole time?

Anybody with common sense can just go watch the Glen Johnson fight which was how many years ago and look at the guy and say HE IS DONE.

I think Joe has earned a nice payday retirement fight if he wants. What he and HIS SUPPORTERS should NOT do is say this means much or that this makes him an ATG or anything like that. This is all risk no reward other than maybe some star status and money for him.
