Oscar vs Manny should be exciting

Consider this.
Oscar vs JCC II was pretty damn exciting even though Chavez got stopped. The fight was fought at Welter, clearly a disadvantage for the 5'7" Chavez. Oscar felt an obligation to stand toe to toe and accept some shots from Julio given his obvious size advantage. I believe he will do the same with Manny. Difference is, Manny, at this point in his career will bring a lot more to the table than JCC did that night.
Pac is only about an inch shorter than Julio, but he's faster, stronger and hits harder than that version of Chavez. And Oscar is 10 years older than when he fought chavez in the rematch. Given that, the fight should be interesting.
Forward to about five minutes in.

Even if (probably) the fight only lasts for 5 rounds, it’ll be worth it…Manny will get you your money’s worthComment

Chavez was never a natural Welter for one. Fighting at Welter was clearly an advantage for Oscar. If you don't see that, you need help.
Chavez was WAY past his prime when the rematch happened.
The fight was still somewhat exciting in spurts especially towards the end. Pac will bring a lot more than Chavez did that night.
The only question here could be his chin. Chavez had one of the great ones. Manny's hasn't been tested above 135lbs. Hope it holds up.Comment

You guys do know that Chavez was fighting jr. middleweight contenders at 154 before the 2nd Delahoya fight, most of you probably don't remember. I can't see Pacquiao taking those clean shots at all from Delahoya unless Delahoya throws arm punchs. Im sure it'll be exciting, its a Delahoya fight, he'll make sure of that. But, he better go in there and finish him quick, i don't think his legs will hold him past 8 rounds not when he's fighting at 147.Comment

It should be a good fight as long as Manny doesn't take too many shots. Hope Freddy can fine tune his defense. He ain't gotta make em miss by a mile, he just gots to slip the shots enough so that he don't take the full impact.Comment

ya this fight should be exciting, but i still cannot see pacman hurting DLH. he took shots from heavy punchers like trindad and vargas at jr. middle there is no way manny has a harder punch then either one of them. if DLH doesnt get the stoppage he should be embarrassedComment
