I do know my geography thank you.
Well as I said since he has dual citizenship he can choose for himself cant he? I dont understand his arguments for becoming a german citizen tho. Why would the poor living conditions in Armenia have anything to do with his choice of citizenship? Did he have to be a german citizen to live in Germany?
Anyway I can definetely understand his feelings.
Armenia doesn't have anything to do with his choice of citizenship. I am say he moved to Germany because of living conditions in Armenia. Naturally, when you stay in a country for a certain period of time, you can become a citizen to have full rights in that country. Abraham was offered a German passport, and he took it. I live in America, I am an American citizen, but I consider myself Armenian. Get it?
And I never said he had to be a German citizen to live in Germany. Please read my posts carefully.
Mr._Pink:
he has german citizenship.
he fights in germany.
he lives in germany.
he changed his armenian name to arthur abraham.
he's german.
if you want to say he's armenian because of where he was born...... he was born in the U.S.S.R.Comment

USSR is not a nationality. USSR was a union of soviet countries. He was born in Armenia which was part of USSR. That's like saying someone is not German, they are European, because Germany is a part of Europe. They are both German, and European, but German would be my example's nationality.
nationality is your country.
at the time of arthur's birth , he was a soviet citizen.
armenia was part of the soviet union 'til the early 90's.
when did he move to germany?
one could argue he lived in the soviet union or germany longer than armenia.Comment

but look at felix sturm and probably other fighters of germany maybe its not such a big deal to change ur name
as u said he was born in soviet russia he has no sense of nationalism because thats something u get as a child and his parents were probably sovietsComment
