Says the guy from Wales who chooses to call himself Welsh over British and starts a "CALZAGHE DESERVES RESPECT!!!" thread...

You see, young andrew...that's another problem many of you have...at your core, you just don't like each other and can't get along....I guess that's why The U.K. is so feeble in general.....because you're not even "United".

Just reread this thread for proof...I stuck the knife in, turned it, and those affected started panicking and fighting amongst themselves....

So guess what?....seeing how you bumped a thread that completely dominates you and every other person of your ilk.....I have to ask the question again.......

"Why?"...why waste your time and energy acting this way? Why do you peck at The Sleeping Giant's feet? Do you not know that America historically AND presently owns you?...and if you DO know this....why are you fighting the feeling?...it would be much easier for you and better for your reputation if you just accepted it...because no matter what you and your fighters EVER say or do....England, or ANY other country for that matter, will NEVER replace The United States as THE Mecca AND Standard of Boxing Greatness.

I've got no problems with British fans, it's Calzaghe fans that I can't stand. There's a big difference there.

Wales is one of the countries that constitutes Great Britain, so thank you for proving my point about your lack of geography knowledge.

Do you not know that America historically AND presently owns you?...and if you DO know this....why are you fighting the feeling?
I never understand why Americans have this superiority over Europeans. You are aware that Europeans colonised America, yes?

because no matter what you and your fighters EVER say or do....England, or ANY other country for that matter, will NEVER replace The United States as THE Mecca AND Standard of Boxing Greatness.
Considering that the US is much larger than the UK, boxing if far more popular over there and you have a population 5x greater than us, is it really surprising that America has many, many good fighters. Just a numbers game mate.

            a) Take a look at the Olympics: the countries with large populations that plough money into sport always do very well: China, Russia and the US.

            b) Consider football, specifically Brazil and Argentina. Big countries where football is incredibly popular. Arguably the to greatest football players of all time, Pele and Maradona hail from those two countries.

Being born American does not make you a better fighter than being born elsewhere. There are far more coaches, boxing gyms and awareness of the sport in the states. Simple.

                    some knowledge.

                    UK holds 3 lineal belts.

                    USA holds 1 lineal belt

UK won 4 medals at olympics

                    USA won 0 medals.

                    no competition really.
