I also scored both fights to Jermain. I scored the rematch of Pavlik-Taylor to Jermain, too. I think I had JT 2 points up. Pavlik was outboxed, as far as I'm concerned.

As for the question, Taylor would have had an easier night than Pavlik.

Taylor is a good. I like him!

To be honest I don't think Taylor would have beaten the Bernard that fought Pavlik. That was like Tito Bernard or some ****.

It wasnt a "different BHop". He was just fighting a guy with a basic style which played to all his strenghts.

I thought Taylor lost both fights but his style gives BHop more problems than Pavliks ever will. Only thing that mightve affected Taylor was the weight.
        Exactly......

I watched it live and thought Jermain had won.. when I re-watched it on tv I had it for Kelly.

Tito and Pavlik are similar in that they are both very effective at doing one particular thing.

Hopkins finds a way to neutralize that thing, and he looks unstoppable.

Taylor doesn't rely on one particular thing to win fights, so he's harder to neutralize. His jab is good but he's not dependent on it because without it he can still find ways to use his speed and effective aggression to get inside. His athleticism makes him more versatile and more difficult to have a game plan for than guys like Tito or Kelly.
