Williams could have fought in Jan against Margarito

Low workrate, unable to control the distance, left hand low would probably not be a good idea against Margarito, he needs more movement and definitely a higher workrate, he didn't throw over 400 punches in that fight and I think a fighter has to control distance with Margarito, Cotto was doing a good job of it until he got tired, if Mosley can't do it, he'd be in trouble, one Margarito gets his distance, he starts unloading his bombs.

True. But I also think Sugar Shane fought that way (sitting on his punches) because he didn't want to run & was LOOKING for the KO. Against Marg I know he'll fight smarter, that's why I think Marg isn't going to steam-roll him. BTW, that left hook Mosley caught Vargas & Mayorga with would hurt Margarito without a doubt. Margarito can't think he could just walk down Mosley wothout a jab or that would be a big mistake taking his power lightly.

That depends on whether he was actually looking for the knockout that badly or was unable to move because of either old legs or ring rust because when he was younger, he would incorporate movement while trying to go for the knockout, he didn't do that against Mayorga, the workrate is what really concerns me though, he didn't or couldn't throw over 400 shots in the fight, that's not good against a guy like Margarito.

It'll take a perfect shot from Mosley to hurt Margarito, maybe he can land it, we'll see.
