I think you're giving Calzaghe a little too much credit... he definitely exposed him, though.

Have you seen Lacy fight even remotely similar to the way he fought pre Calzaghe. I've seen Lacy fight, I've got all his fights, he was better in his first professional fight than he was for Mendoza, Manfredo.

Apparently Joe hit him over 1000 times, Joe ruined him unfortunatly.

I've seen him both pre and post Calzaghe; he is a different fighter, but I think part of it is due to the rotator cuff injury, part of it is due to guys like Manfredo having a blueprint on how to box him, and part of it is the limitations he had all along being exposed.

I'm not saying Joe didn't do some damage, both physically and psychologically, but I just find it hard to swallow that he singlehandedly "ruined" the man.

Either way, Lacy had better not get hit flush 1000 times by Taylor... hell, even 20% of that... or he will be leaving in an ambulance. It's sad to think that Joe hit him that many times and couldn't stop him. I think that's the cause of a lot of Lacy's frustration.

Give me some good odds and I'll take Lacy for the fun of it.

For the record I would never put real money on the guy. What I will say is that if he has rehabbed his rotator-cuff completely he will be dangerous.

Jeff Lacy is going to make Taylor look like Ray Robinson. I have never been a real fan of both, but Taylor still looked, even in his second loss to Pavlik, like he can still fight. He will have the hand and foot speed advantage on Lacy. Lacy may still have more power, but the Floridian has just not looked the same since trekking over the Atlantic. Calzaghe did ruin him, as someone here has already mentioned, and his three win over mediocre competition - Tsypko, Manfredo and Mendoza - were not impressive or reminiscent of Lacy's previous form. And in two of those three wins, you could make the argument that he lost to either Tsypko or Mendoza.
I'm picking Taylor either by late stoppage or by landslide decision.

Some may say that Pavlik exposed Taylor's chin, but Lacy won't be able to find the target against the Arkansas native

                  Taylor wins a easy decision.

                  possibly stops him.

It's a misconception, Joe landed around 300-350 punches. Joe threw a little over 1000 punches. I've seen the punch stats before.

Exposed Lacy, yes. Ruined Lacy, no. Lacy was ready to get wiped out.

Lacy has no chance. None. Taylor beats his ass for as long as it lasts.
