It's a misconception, Joe landed around 300-350 punches. Joe threw a little over 1000 punches. I've seen the punch stats before.

Exposed Lacy, yes. Ruined Lacy, no. Lacy was ready to get wiped out.

He hit him with far over 350 punches landing 350 punches is average he landed atleast 500 over 12 rounds, and proberbly threw more than 1000, infact i'll re watch the fight and count the amount of punches he lands as accurately as I can for the first 6 rounds or something.

Those are the records for most landed punches in a championship fight.
Calzaghe -Lacy was a championship fight. As you see there, Calzaghe did'nt even break 401 landed punches to be on that elite list. I cannot find the acual punch stat for that fight that Boxrec had on a comparison analysis thread , but trust me it existed. I'll try to keep looking for it.

90% picking Taylor so far... almost 50/50 on whether it will be by stoppage or decision... if he doesn't win this, it will be a colossal upset.

I thought Lacy lost his last fight, hell, he had to tackle the damn guy just to get to the end of it. I've said it before - Lacy is a fun TV fighter because he has a good look, doesn't hold, and always comes forward. However, he's slow, has never had true one-punch power, and next to no defense. He can't even throw a proper left hook anymore.

Lacy's style will definitely make this a fun fight to watch... Taylor got a bit of a rep for being a boring fighter, but that was due to fighting primarily defensive fighters during his championship reign... Hopkins, Winky, Spinks... OTOH he tends to bring it when the other guy is willing to stand in front of him and trade shots.
