Anyone else agree with me now after the Pavlik hype has gone?

Based on Pavlik being very flatfooted as proved by Hopkins.

nope,, 170 just wasnt his weightclass. he's clearly sharper and quicker at 160 and is the king of that weight class

Compare the losses on their records. Pavlik was outclassed by a 43 year old Hopkins. Kessler lost a hard fought decision to the p4p no.2 despite no sparring. Find another argument please.

Put Kessler in with a living opponent and then we can gauge where he stands.

I mean Pavlik looked unbeatable against Lockett also. It is easy to look good against Tomato Cans. Truth is we have no idea where Kessler stands since his loss to Calzaghe.

Both Kessler and Pavlik have a world to prove in my eyes right now.

Some truth there dean although I would say he's finish of Haussler was excellent as was his dominance of Sartison. Those 2 guys are however not exactly worldbeaters but he did look back to form.

How about Pavlik moving 10 pounds to fight Hopkins, while Kessler fought at 168 against Calzaghe and lost

the hype of him possibly being a top3 p4p fighter is temporarily gone. him losing to hopkins has no relation to him fighting anybody else @ 168, and after 160 champ is settled between him, Sturm, and Abraham. He will have success @ 168.
