" I fight for a living, so if I gotta die fighting then thats the best way for me to go"

I think that 1 statement shows how much this means to Roy Jones Jr!!

If Roy wins this fight it puts him back on the ATG P4P list where he belongs. He can get the image of the last big fights he was in where it eneded up with him on his back and his eyes fluttering feet raised and half under the ropes. the image you will remember is RJJ getting his hand raised in victory over a fighter that many including the peeps on this web site consider top 3 P4P right now.

There's a big difference between wanting to win and doing everything humanly possible to ensure the odds of him winning are maximised.

For example, the trip home i thought was unnecessary. That was training time wasted. He has the rest of his life after this fight to spend with his family.
