Is Roy taking this Fight seriously ?

I know 24/7 is just an edited glimpse, but i just don't get the impression that Jones is doing everything possible to win this fight and is truly motivated

On a side note, was impressed with his son on the football field

I think Roy said in the second 24/7 episode:

" I fight for a living, so if I gotta die fighting then thats the best way for me to go"

I think that 1 statement shows how much this means to Roy Jones Jr!!

the thing with 24/7 is before they shoot they have to ask permission to shoot. Once they begin film they can use anything shot on film for the series. My guess is that Jones is giving them only the stuff that they need and everything else is not allowed to be filmed. Also, HBO doesn't pay for this the promoters do so it's not like you getting a true docudrama

also from what I hear they did indeed shoot the Ortiz-DLH footage but I heard that neither party wants it shown on 24/7 but since HBO has it in the can they might

no i remember after the first 24/7 epsiode someone said a similar thing, well maybe roy likes to have a fun camp, maybe he likes one where he can have a laugh and maybe that means he enjoys his boxing. a roy jones jr that enjoys his boxing is a roy jones jr that you want to see.

i dont think that it means that hes not motivated though, RJJ will be as motivated as ever hes 39 now if he loses this fight then its safe to say that his time in the big leagues is over.

hes also mae comments before saying that if 'i lose who cares but if he loses his perfect reign is over' but thats just roy putting the pressure on joe seeing if how he responds to it and seeing if he cracks.

i heard all he's been doing is eatin junk food, watchin scarface, and masturbating all day. That's just how unmotivated he is. He's not taking this fight seriously at all.

I also heard Roy has been smoking weed, which he never use to do. On top of that hes snorting kilos of ******* and guzzling vodka. I'm worried...

Roy, you need to get serious.
