Vic had a lot of succesful defesnse of his title at fly, he beat on of the greatest flys in Pac by ko to get the title. After his loss, he moved up showed improvement, won a belt, then became the first to unify the titles by beating the #1 dude who also happened to be p4per.
what do you mean? Margarito was ranked #1 by the Ring Magazine since before floyd entered the division.

VIC was wayyy over confident in that fight and neglected defense completely...

as you saw against Mijares, this isnt quite the same VIC, this is a VIC that will do alottt of homework before going back to school Donaire.

I just want this rematch to happen, then we can see what other excuse some of you guys come up with after he beats Donaire

i mean he just beat the supposed UNTOUCHABLE CHAMP Mijares who 9 out of 10 of you said would "box circles" around VIC to a veryyyyy wide easy decision

and now you have nothin but to hang on to a LUCKY, yes LUCKY punch by Donaire.
honestly this is where respect gets lost and I think you know that. Overall it's kind of weak to reduce the performance Donaire did against Vic......at the same time you are praising what Vic did to Mijares.

I know you basically like fighters of your nationality and hey you won't be the first. However, I don't think you will be taken seriously as a fan of the sport when you make claims such as the above. I mean you probably could care less but I thought I would give you my opinion considering I for the most part respect your enthusiasm for the fighters you like

give credit where credit is due if you want people to give Vic the same credit

why would i want to be a 4-11 armenian? Did you bite your tongue? The same way you descredit nonito for his domination of vic, vic gets descredited for his win over mijares. You set yourself up. and if vanes is so GREAT like you say, why is he opening up ppv events? why is he the first or second fight? why doesn't he make the televised cards for the least? If vanes was that great wouldn't arum be doing more with him? Arum is one promter that promotes his fighters and gets them known why is vanes being ignored?

I honestly dont remeber Margs ever being ring #1, but i could be wrong. In any case it doesnt change the my point, marg got in to the p4p by beating cotto even though pw is not in there. Vic was just as succesfull in flyweight before his loss as Marg was in ww before his. They both cam back won belts, then unified against the #1 guys, both p4pers. Im not saying the ranking system is right, but accorfing to margs example vic should be in the top 10.

oooh cool a debate about Margarito

so lets see since you brought this up

                    who would you consider Vic's

                    Cintron (2xs)
                    Clottey
                    Williams (tough loss)

heck I would even settle for a comparison to Tono Diaz or Six Heads (No Chin) or Lujan.

Vic's best win besides last Saturday was what Pacheco? never been impressed with Irene and his loss to Jhonny Gonzalez kind of bears that out albeit at 118.

since you brought it up tell me
