    Darchinyan wants Montiel next!

"Mijares is a good fighter, it wasn't easy. I want to fight the best and I want to collect all the belts and Fernando Montiel I want you next," proclaimed Darchinyan. "If I fight Montiel he will retire after I am done with him."

Montiel is a puncher, whereas Mijares had nothing to keep Darchinyan off of him.

I've slept on Montiel for a long time but I think he's really up there, maybe tied with Darchinyan and Donaire at 115.

        YES!

        Get this matchup made!

The thought of another Bernard Hopkins level of undisputed champion gets me really, really excited. All 4 belts and obviously The Ring belt will be up for grabs.

No matter the fight, you have to take Darchinyan serious. He came out looking for his respect against Mijares and I think he resoundingly earned it.

Calderon should fight the winner. He can move up a few pounds.

                    Definitely.

Let me ask you... were you excited by the prospect of Donaire's stock from his win over Darchinyan rising? I can't have been the only one.
