Well if Joe loses a decision then yea he is and I'm a Calzaghe fan and big one the Lacy fight made me one. SRL lost to Terry Norris who was prime and a great fighter, Ali lost to Holmes who was prime and a great fighter. If Joe loses he lost to a SHOT, who lost 3 of his last 6 2 by KO and hasn't has a meaningful win since Ruiz.

And that's a fact. Roy is damn near 40, has been KO'd twice in his last six fights and lost three of his last six. This is to prevent a forum full of tears and verbal attacks in case Roy somehow wins.

Roy gets credit because he's 40 years old just like Hopkins gets credit for beating Pavlik. In his prime, no I wouldn't give Roy much credit for beating Calzaghe.

Yes, shutting Lacy out was impressive. Beating him wasn't much of a big deal because Lacy and Calzaghe were equally accomplished fighters going into that fight, and by that I mean neither had done anything spectacular yet. They were both undefeated but hadn't fought anyone of consequence. Lacy had looked better and people were sick of Joe hiding in Europe, so most people sided with Lacy.

So yeah the way he beat Lacy was impressive.

I dunno why people talk about "hiding" in Europe. If they fight the best the division has to offer, then where's the hiding?
