And that's a fact. Roy is damn near 40, has been KO'd twice in his last six fights and lost three of his last six. This is to prevent a forum full of tears and verbal attacks in case Roy somehow wins.

I knew Mijares was a bit overrated based on seeing him 3 times, but I didn't know HOW overrated until he lost to Vic Darchinyan. I mean that just sounds bizarre to me.

I don't think much of Calzaghe. His only impressive win is a 43 year old B-Hop. I do think he's overrated, but I also think Roy is shot to death. Why can't I say Calzaghe was overrated if he loses to Roy?

I mean NOBODY really thinks Roy can win this fight, do they? It's like back in 05 when this whole forum was saying Roy would beat Tarver in the third fight, then the next day they all said oh I knew Roy couldn't really do it, was just hoping ya know

my thread on Mijares was more a commentary. It wasn't an "I told you so" thread because I didn't know that much about Mijares. I PICKED HIM TO WIN so it's not like I'm saying you all were idiots. It was more a "how could so many people, including myself, be so wrong about this guy?"

I was commenting that he was the most overrated fighter I've seen since following boxing, and I'm sticking to it. I'm saying I'm shocked, not that "you all were dumb and wrong"

You are correct. Even if he wins he is still overrated. Some people are making out that he is fighting a prime RJJ, and that he DOMINATED a prime B-Hop. Pathetic.

It depends who rated him first. I thought Lacy was way overrated and I stated it on this board, but the way Calzaghe whipped him I didn't expect it so I gave props for that fight.

If Calzaghe loses against Roy, it depends on how. If he is knocked out by one punch, that happens...even against Old Men...ask Moorer.

If Roy beats him by say 8 rounds to 4, then yes, Joe is overrated. If it is a close decision, yes, it still hurts.

Joe cannot lose more than 4 rounds to Roy and it would be best if he knocked him out.

If he loses, weird thing is, he better be knocked out by one punch while ahead because if he is being dominated or it is close and he is knocked out by one punch, again, that's sad and overrated will be due.
