Here's a suggestion, stop moving the wrong way into Darchinyan's left hand. Make him beat you with the right.

You can never say that it would not make a difference. Nacho could very well improve Mijares, but Roach and Stewart would be an awful fit for Mijares. Roach improves sluggers really nor does he know spanish. Stewart isn't a good fit for him either.

Also the trainer thing isn't as big of a difference as to the actual points I've made on what Mijares could do differently to win, which you've ignored completely. Good job.

If the rematch hapens I still go with Mijares.
I think the active schedule will do better for him. Taking some time off might make people forget about him and nobody will care. Look at what Kessler he basically took 2008 off and people don't care about him as much.

Not rushing him in, but if he fought Devid Lookhamak(sp) for the mandatory, it could give him a nice tune up and make him the mandatory.

Hence why, once again, he fights Devid Lookahamak for the WBC mandatory position. That or he fights Arce again for the WBA shot, which is never going to happen. That or he goes over to Japan to fight Nobou Nashiro to gain the WBA interim belt.

Hey Warp the only problem with your thread is the fact that Mijares doesnt want a rematch. Watch the post fight presser and listen to the man speak.

Yeah, but Darchinyan doesn't need the belt. Why would he fight Mijares again unless he wanted an easy payday?

Also, the WBC never forced Wright to face Mosley again. That was a unification match and Wright took the rematch because he couldn't get Oscar. He even says after the first Mosley fight in the ring with Larry Merchant, he wants Mosley again, Tito and then Oscar.

I'm actually fairly certain that the WBC ordered a rematch.

I think Wright was forced to give the WBC (it actually might have been the WBA) belt up or lose his IBF belt, because Ouma was his mandatory there.

The WBC ordered the rematch, because it was easily the biggest money fight they could make at that point, and... well... the WBC likes money.

Maybe they did order it, but Wright wanted that fight immediately after the first fight. Watch the interview with Merchant, he says he wants Mosley again. So it didn't really matter because if he didn't want Mosley, he would have dropped the belt like he did with the IBF and Ouma.

                Yeah, that's 100% true.

It just shows that one of the three sanctioning bodies that have their belt with Darchinyan might order a rematch because it could make some $$$...

Although, I will say, I think Darchinyan vs. Montiel is the more interesting matchup at this point, because Darchinyan vs. Mijares was not particularly close.

It ain't that easy when you're as feather fisted as Frijoles.

And it might be hard for Mijares to get the fights he wants to get another shot at Vic because who wants to f**k around with a southpaw who can't punch for ****(uh, does Cory Spinks ring a bell).

As far as a rematch right away, Frijoles doesn't deserve one PERIOD

Why would we hope for a rematch. Darchinyan dominated the dude. It wasn't some great battle. Darchinyan should be sayin: Neeeext!
