Mike Mollo was a decent but smaller American heavyweight prospect who made the mistake of signing with Don King, who didn't keep him active enough to continue to improve. Mollo is exciting to watch, always going for the early KO.

He fights former Valuev opponent Jameel McCline this coming Friday.

Thanks guys. Sounds like Golota had a decent win then.

Holyfield is still in the picture, in fact Valuev will fight Holyfield if Golota is not available.

Don King and Valuev himself prefer Golota, Sauerland wants Holyfield.

It depends on 1) Golota winning on Friday 2) Golota agreeing to fight Valuev with six weeks to prepare 3) Sauerland agreeing to Golota as the opponent.

Yeah I got that. I just thought that Golota was only marginally better than Holyfield so that in essense both fights were awful. However you guys educated me on Golota's latest acheivements so he doesn't seem so bad.

I still think it's a disgrace if Holyfield is allowed to fight.

Out of the two, I'd rather see Holyfield get another title shot. Atleast it'd be something if he won. I haven't cared for Golota becoming something for many years.

It's definitely a disgrace if Holyfield is the opponent.

If Golota is the opponent, it's still not the best choice they could make. But, with Golota's win over McBride (who stopped past-prime Tyson) last fall and Mollo this year (and if he defeats Austin as well) it's not really a disgrace.

Didn't just beat Mollo was a pretty good showing I thought.
