He has all the tools to be force in the very near future. He has only about 18 or so fights. I'd think that they would bring him along. You can't throw guys into the ring who are still up and coming. Look what happened to Vargas. He was never ready to fight Trinidad. And as a consequence was ruined from that fight.
Lets get rid of one of the two Andre's

I give Roy Jones no credit for beating Hanshaw. This is the same guy who had a draw in a elimination tournament on Shobox against a nobody out of france.Yeah, but you still said he's boring, hence you might of well have called him spinks.
But seriously, I like how you completely disregarded my other point. Direll dispatched of Hanshaw a lot easier then Jones did, but yet according to you Hanshaw was a nobody. If Hanshaw was a nobody then really who has Roy Jones proved himself against an elite fighter like Calzaghe at the age of 39? Felix Trinidad?
Anyway, I'm not gonna go into Dirrell's record. He is doing what most up and comers do, I just don't like him for personal reasons.
And watching the two Andre's both coming up at 168 - same weight class, is what made me create this thread. Feels like the Klitschko brothers avoiding each other except they aint Bros.Last edited by Vladimir303; 11-02-2008, 12:25 AM.Comment

Yeah he only has 17 fights but it's not like he fought 17 bums. Dirrell's last three opponents were solid C level fighters. One more win against a solid opponent and he's ready for Inkin. He has all the tools to be force in the very near future. He has only about 18 or so fights. I'd think that they would bring him along.
