just as the fight starts taking an interesting turn nonito scores the cut. gotta give him credit for opening up the cut tho. he still earned the win even tho the tide was starting 2 turn against him

Donaire's father/trainer told me Nonito has a suspected broken hand and went off to hospital after the fight to have x-rays. It happened in rd 2.

It might explain why Donaire switch to a southpaw stance and not actually jabbing with his right hand, just pawing. It might be the right hand that is broke.

i doubt vic will rematch him now he said it in the press conference when asked about donaire he said he would fight him "later" he is focusing on a fight with montiel now
arum wants donaire to fight arce but arce is more interested in fighting vazquez
donaire will probably make another defense of his title next
and i doubt he can ko vic again that ko was a perfect counter i dont think he can hurt vic if he tries to attack him and i doubt vic will make the same mistake of the first fight

i seen him jumping around grimacing after the fight.

Good win for donaire, but as I watch the fight seems that Donaire is not 100% in his performance that night, and if a rate his percentage it was just around 70% to 79% performance.

There are some lacking footwork and speed but maybe that is the outcome of a long layoff inside the ring.

hope Donaire will be much faster, stronger and better by moving to higher weight division.
