Well more than anything, Pavlik needs a couple big wins to win back the public's confidence in him. Pavlik considers his last fight simply as a bad fight for him. I don't think he is shaken by that.

He needs to boost up the public's view of him to make any unification fights financially feasible.

I also think that Pavlik will come back strong again. Question for me is if weight will be an issue. Personally I think he should take Abraham next. It will be a huge fight still and AA might have to move up sooner than Pavlik.
