He avoided the real threats at WW..the prime top undeafted guys there. Dont tell me that he didnt feel they were a threat to him.. (to beating him)..LIKE i SAID...scared in this sense doesnt mean shaking in his boots.. means he knew he could be beat or the potential was high so he avoided them.

I cant take you seriously man.
It's obvious you don't know much about floyd. let me ask you this when floyd first came into the ww who was the undisputed p4p king of the division and known as a ko artist with lightning speed? and who did floyd call out in the ww division before even havin a fight there? Floyd offer cotto a fight at jr. ww after he beat gatti. Floyd offered the cotto camp a chance for a fight at the wbc belt why did cotto turn it down? floyd also challenged a prime mosley who was fresh of a dlh win whey did shane turn it down? why did floyd fight castillo? and not only that give him an immediate rematch since the first fight was so close? Why did floyd go up in wieght and fight a much bigger power punching corrales? A corrales who was ranked highly in p4p rankings BY EVERYONE, a corrales who many favored to beat up little floyd. If floyd is scared of challenges please explain those answers. It's hard to take you serious with your screen name which obviously points to what fighter you like, meaning you must be a casual cause it's hard to find a long time boxing fan who is a fan of dlh for countless reasons.

Hey smart man..read the title of the thread and get back at me with your similies.

Floyd is prime and still has it. Except now at 147..the Cotto's, Margarito's PW's, Clottey are TOUGHER.. so he QUIT.

i think he retired because he wasnt motivated anymore. he has all the money in world and everything he could possibly want included 3 kids. alot of fighters say they're not motivated to fight anymore

It's almost laughable to think a world class world champion born to a boxing family, boxing since he was a kid, who has constantly moved up in weight to face people much bigger than him is now scared to fight someone or wants no part of him especially when although the ww is filled with good fighters, there's no one there that seems unbeatable. Seriously dude it's laughable! Floyd is as unbeatable any ww ever! Floyd at 130-135 is argubly the best of all time. No one in the ww division right now posseses half the skill that floyd does. No one has more confidence than floyd. If you haven't noticed floyd doesnt have a confidence problem. There can be many reasons floyd retired. If you been a fan of floyd you would know that even before he came to the ww division he always stated he wanted to move to ww for a dream match with dlh and then retire. Anything he did before that was to put himself in a better position to negotiate a fight with dlh and get a fair cut.
Good read Rog but where I disagree is where you said fighterz LOVE fighting. Very few fighterz love the sport of boxing. Mayweather for example,

Mayweather had fun in the ring...but that was at 130...I think he started to lose his love for the sport after moving up to 135...He even spoke about skipping 140 to face prime DLH...He might have wanted his way out much earlier...Money may have kept him a little motivated but when you truly love the sport of boxing, you want to take on all comerz, and prove that your the best...Floyd didn't have that kind of love after moving up...He didn't even fight Casa at 135...which I know he would have won. He did call out a prime SSM but we know what happend...SSM was still big $$

Fighterz that love the sport are fighterz that want to prove they're the best. Floyd proved he was the best at 130-135 pounder...I don't know why the Kosta fight didn't happend

                  Just to name a few

                  Whitaker
                  Holyfield
                  B-Hop

I don't know anyone who loved the sport more then B-Hop or Whitaker. Whitaker alwayz spoke about how much he loved the sport.
