I think he did, and I'm not hating on him for it. It is a smart move, and if he ever did come back I can guarantee you that he won't fight any of the big names at 147.

    no i dont think so....

I think he became unbelievably rich, and unbelievably bored with the sport... which is a really good time to retire, because with tyson and jones, u see what happens when u get bored...

although i think the hunger for money and the sport will soon get to him again

You think ppl would be asking the same thing if we had the net back when Marciano retired?

            Nah..

I think he'd give most the WW a run for their money even today!..

I truly believe he got bored wit the ****..Having that much money and still workin as hard as he does to train etc. is pointless in a rich mindframe..I could only imagine..

He'll come back tho..I'd like to see him in their with Cotto still..the styles are perfect for each other..and a toss-up IMO!

Yes. I haven't even heard him mention Cotto's name since the Mosely bout. He was sure Shane was going to do away with him with the first power shots thrown.

                Hulk doesn't care.
Hulk stopped caring when Floyd stopped fighting.
Like all retired fighters (or any retired people) Hulk says 'good luck'.

Floyd is smart, rich, healthy and happy. Him not an ATG.

                grar!

The only fighterz who would give Mayweather problems is Clottey and Paul. Paul actaully has a really good chance of beating Mayweather.

I say, this because alot many like to say he ducked Margarito/ Cotto when Mayweather would have light work with them.

floyd just notice how most of the underdogs or non champions have been winning in 2008 (campbell, the giants, margarito, the celtics, the phillies) so he decided to take this year off, he will be back in 09
