He is willing to get in the ring with anybody. No one wanted to fight Margo.. Cotto fought him. He's looking at Berto or Cintron as a comeback fight..
Those are not tune-up type opponents at all.

considering he has only been in the game for 7 years.
I hear dudes talking **** about his record but Williams, Clottey, Margarito or any of the other young welters right now don't have the resume he does.

He is no bull****, fights anybody, stays active and doesn't talk ****..
the only reason I can see for someone hating him so much is envy.

Of course you could detract from any of his opponents, but he has some decent names. Judah regardless of his mental capacity, Mosley of age etc.

But yeah he has a decent resume, and is a good fighter. He'll be back. It's just boxing has a lot of fair weather fans, eg Hatton, Pavlik, Cotto losing etc.

If hatton doesn't respect for fighting Lazcano as a "tune up/comeback" then I don't see why anyone else should get respect. Of couse there is no way he'll lose to either of them (Cotto) and Hatton, but they're still more testing than need be.

The only people who hated Cotto were the diehard Floyd fanatics. They were pissed that Floyd was being accused of ducking Cotto, so they turned that into hate for Cotto.

i dont post much about Cotto or get into discussions with people because their are so many haters out there at the moment i dont even go into most Cotto threads cause then i aint gotta listen to fools talking smack and being negative etc
