first of all, marg didnt fight again, because HBO had no more dates left for the year... so arum says... marg was barely marked up after the fight...

for the record he was about to start camp with the notion Nov 1st was his date and then when Arum hemmed an hawed about it he said **** it I will take it off

but he had already started loosening up in TJ (his normal procedure) before making his way back to LA to prep so he was indeed ready to fight

and wow you really hit someone's anger button with this. I personally agree with you there is no harm in taking an easier fight first for so many different reasons. One is to shake of any rust, then the whole pyscological aspect of what transpired last fight, and then not to say the amount of damage Cotto took

I have a ton of respect for Cotto dude was a class act all the way through. Some of his fans should take his queue
