Wasn't it Floyd-Hernandez? He was already P4P ranked against Corrales. You can't be P4P ranked and be unknown IMO.
Idk..its a toss up....Hernadez got him his first belt but he didnt dominate him like he did Corralles who was like 33-0 with 27 KO's and a very feared puncher and little Floyd mopped the floor with him..

Hernandez didn't have a good moment in that fight really...
Although no one has ever been as thoroughly dominated as Corrales that night IMO.

Mayweather kicked Genaro's ass pretty bad, although not on the Chico level of domination. Genaro didn't win a round either, IMO.
Mayweather was already highly regarded before Corrales (#2 at the end of 1999 on the p4p rankings), but the Chico fight more of put him back on the good side of the public. Mayweather was getting criticized quite a bit around this period, having only defended his title once in 2000 (a boring fight against Goyo Vargas), and Corrales had jumped ahead of him in the magazines in both the junior lightweight and p4p rankings by the time the fight took place.
