I don't know about the rich part. I hear that the only reason Barerra is fighting again is because he's running out of money. Castillo also can't retire because he's flat broke. I think the same is for Morales. He admited after the Diaz fight that he was getting buzzed by head shots. The only reason that a fighter would continue and risk long term serious injuries is cuz he's running out of cash. Its sad how some the eras greats are forced to keep going cuz of financial reasons. Look at poor Holyfield.

Yeah Barrera certainly isn't out of money and i doubt Morales is, Castillo is still in debt since like five years ago.

At the end of his career why not spend the riches he earned? throughout his career though he hasn't lived in luxury and has managed his money well, at least that's the impression he gave multiple times and it would be pointless to lie about.

Plus its not far from impossible to be poor when you're as marketable as he is.

Passion for the sport is enough to keep people in the ring though, when its what you love and all you have ever done in life its hard to let go, look at Hopkins, Holyfield and Jones.

Oh and Barrera only recently split from GBP to open his own promotional company, no doubt he made his money from GBP and had he not, it wouldn't have been smart to split.
