    or something like that

That's exactly like Oscar talks. It was just like his post fight interview with Merchant after the Hopkins bout: "Believe me, Larry. I-I tried to get up, but I couldn't. He caught me right on the button..."

when all actuality pacquaio is very skilled, talented, and he's currently THEE best boxer in the entire world...

oscar de la hoya is one of the greatest of his time...a future hall of famer no doubt about it...

but oscar is past his prime ladies and gentelmen...34 (or i forgot if he's 35) years old...he still has lots of ability left and looked like he turned the clock back in his tune-up against forbes...

point is i think this fight is much closer due to the fact de la hoya is aged.

prime for prime i pick oscar by a knockout in the 8th...

i see this being a close split decision still in favor of oscar but i refuse to bet cash on this fight due to the fact pacquaio has MORE THAN A LEGIT CHANCE AT BEATING DE LA HOYA...

its much closer than people are calling it...

i wish people would give pacquaio more credit...

and i dont want to hear the size arguement...on fight night in his last several fights he's weighed in at or around 147...granted he's short but the difference in height is no different virtually (1in bigger difference to be exact) than margarito v. cotto...

de la hoya is naturally bigger buts its not like de la hoya is going in against a 126lb fighter...pacquaio fights (on fight night) at the welterweight limit...so he its not like he has to pack on a ton of weight for the fight...

its going to be a good fight.
Oh hell yeah....... This is very true..

          that is fairly true...

but anyone can by just look at their size and career would have the same conclusion ...

but pacfans like myself are counting on the plus & minuses of both fighters, we are assuming the odlh has more downs (i.e age, weight drain) than pacs ups (speed, no weight drain)...

and we are leaving the question open "if PAC can take ODLH's punches" up to fight night...

That was so spot on that I could hear Oscar's voice while I read it!

9 out of 10 "experts" also predicted Lacy to brutally KO Calzaghe, and Hopkins was a big underdog against Pavlik. Things don't always work out how some people think they will!

If oscar really went out looking for the kill from the opening bell, he should win by brutal left hook around round 7 or so.

That's about the same proportion who picked Pavlik. Not that I disagree that this bout is a farce, but the "expert" vote can hardly be used to gauge anything.

This fight is a complete farce. Cannot believe this is actually gonna happen.

IF DLH Knocks out Pacquiao early, he should be DISGRACED with himself. And i think he even knows this, and will probably carry Pacquiao till at least round 8 or 9

Experts aren't really experts specially if it's about Pacquaio.
