He was dropped by a perfect right hook if i remember right, then hurt in the 2nd. Dont think he was ever close to being stopped - funny how every time he gets tagged, hes "almost KOed" (see Lazcano).

He showed good skill in this one for anyone who thinks he has none. Magee seemed to stand in that same spot in the corner the whole fight trying to bait him in. Ricky adapted well. Good fight.

I think he was far closer to being stopped in this one, I don't think he was in real danger against Lazcano. Magee was throwing the kitchen sink at him and it was 2 rounds in, whilst Lazcano was getting his **** beaten of for 10 rounds. He didn't have the gas to put him away.

I loved the way Magee fought in this fight, he barely walked out his corner he walked a bought 10 paces layed on the ropes and stayed there. lol. Then Hatton started moving in then moving out, instead of just staying there and being picked of by heavy counters.

I think Magee should have done better with his career.

Yep, he had his best fights early on, His fight against Jason rowland,Tony pep, Magee were good fighters, He got himself in trouble by bum rushing Magee who was a silk southpaw and paid for it in the 1st round.

credit to him though he got up and went on to outbox magee.

Yep its true, He was KO twice by the german southpaw Juergen Braehmer when he was 17 years old, The guy is now fighting at light-heavyweight.
