Whats the the point being biassed toawards Calzaghe?

First of all he doesn't slap,He still hits hard but just play's it safe and doesn't hit as hard as he used to due to the brittle hands he breaks in practically every fight.

Sceondly yes he has fought most of his career in he UK but whats wrong with that? I mean it seems perfectly ok for americans to fight most of theyre careers on home soil so this is an obvious and clear example of double standards!

Last but not least he hasn't avoided great fighters,The fact is that were in the wrong weight divisions and they declined when an offer was made to them due to big ego's and money.

There's no need for this to be a race issue.I do agree that if he was American he definately wouldn't be on receiving end of all the undeserved hate.In fact if he was American he would be held in a higher regard and have his ass kissed every second of the day!

    Great post- NOT.

Remember Floyd Mayweather the AMERICAN and all the hate he received?

Roy Jones was hated online by a lot of people when he was fighting.

    Mike Tyson...Hopkins....I could go on.

The double standards thing has been done to death. No one cares. Sorry that the US seems to have been the place of big fights and where the best fighters tended to fight for the last 100 years or so. But get over it and move on.

Fans will naturally be biased towards guys they like. It's to be expected.

Small nitpicking, but the proper phrase here is "biased against" not "biased towards".

It's all in good fun I think. Honestly, I give him his props. In recent years he's been making his mark and proving himself to us Americans. If he beats Jones, even at this point in Roy's career, he's secured his spot with me.

Im just tired of seeing the ignorance of so many so-called boxing fans!
Im a TRUE boxing fan who watches fighters from all over the world and gives them the props they deserve.Thats how it should be.

Why are people using race as an excuse for everything????????? Tunney need his head check and its sad that other people are actually following and listening to this prick..

One of the most hated boxer was Mayweather and he was black so what has joe C been white got to do with it??? When you're at the top people scrutinize you which brings all the hate towards you no matter what colour you are red/black/white/brown/green
                  whatever colour you are

I really dont understand it, Have been listed as hating joe C when i have never written a single word in critising him, He is one of my favourite fighters because of his boxing skills, I have picked him to beat every single opponent on this forum, All i have ever said was he isnt an ATG yet....and if that makes me a hater then so be it.
