The fact that Foreman regained the title 20 years after he first gained it is incredible to me. The Heavyweight belt is the most prized posession in the sport. I still think his feat was slightly more impressive.

watch the video of teddy atlas in between rounds.

before foreman knocks out moorer , teddy tells michael he's trying to time you , don't get too ****y , he's trying to catch with that right hand , etc.

      foreman win was more impressive.

      who the hell is pavlik?

michael moorer was heavyweight champion of the world and had just beaten evander holyfield. moorer was also a former light heavyweight champion.

pavlik is good but come on he beat jermain taylor. not exactly evander holyfield.

moorer also was very skilled. he just wasn't dedicated as he was suppose to be.

if u believe that he was timing moore for that punch then u must be a hardcore foreman fan cuz that is bull****.. foreman was getting his ass handed to him for the entire fight and got a lucky punch.. bhop beat pavlik's ass from pillar to post for 12 rounds

Foreman knew he didnt have the movement at his age to use vs Moorer, he weathered the storm and it worked out for him. I dont think it was luck. Then every fighter who was losing a fight and then won by KO was lucky. I dont think so.

what the hell do you think foreman was doing?

trying to box to a decision.

he was just trying to catch moorer with a big punch. he did.

you can say he got lucky in landing that punch but you can't say that's not what foreman was planning.

he knew his only chance was to land one big one. everyone knew his only chance was to land big one.

fact is it doesn't matter how good bernard looked and how bad foreman looked. foreman KTFO moorer who is a superior fighter to the one bernard decisioned.

George Foreman easily. For an old man like that to go up against a Heavyweight Champion take a beating, never quit and still get up off the stool round after round after the beating he was taking and to still belive he can win, and he won, it was a lucky punch but he did set it up and ko'd Moore.

Hopkins had a great win and performance. But, theres been nothing in Hopkins career to compare to what Foreman did only thing that comes close is Hopkins v. Calzaghe.

Hopkins had a fighter come up in weight.

Foreman fought a young Champion at his weight class.

Whats more impressive, Foreman v. Holyfield or Hopkins v. Pavlik?

Foreman. Only because he made $400 million after he won the championship. That's more impressive.
