winning every minute of every round in dominant fashion, or landing one solid punch to take out a chinny champ? bhop by a mile!

.... no offense to george. winning the title at heavyweight at 45 is still impressive, just not AS impressive as bhop!

Foreman was fighting in his own weight class vs the champ. So I pick Foreman. Also Hopkins has never retired for real and he is always training so I think it was a bigger task for Foreman.

Hopkins dominated his fight, Foreman was getting his ass kicked until he landed that right hand, so definitely Hopkins for me.

And before that he'd been retired ten years. Big George regained the heavyweight title twenty years after he lost it, and he did it by knocking out an unbeaten heavyweight champ. There ain't one boxer in history who has equalled that feat.

As for the "lucky" punch, what's the point of boxing? To land punches which damage your opponent and Foreman threw a punch at Moorer which sparked him out. If he was just "lucky" then so were Louis, Ali, Leonard, Marciano, Lewis, Dempsey, McCallum, Holmes and thousands of others.
