If Hopkins went to Denmark for the fight he would get some good dollars...it would be the biggest event in Danish boxing history more than likely and the HBO numbers would be huge...im sure if Kessler took a substantial pay cut...Hopkins would make a small fortune and seal his legacy with a big win.

Hopkins isn't leaving the country to fight someone below him but he might make an exception for Calzaghe, but that's it. Besides, I think the HBO numbers would be terrible. Hopkins-Pavlik didn't do so well and from what I recall Calzaghe-Kessler had perhaps the worst rating ever.

Looking at ratings and PPV numbers, everyone not named Oscar is pretty not well known or at least watched. Sad.

Yea, relatively unknown is probably an understatement.

The chances of a rematch for B-Hop with RJJ are slim...most of us know that Joe Calzaghe will win a UD and Roy has said he wouldin't fight Bernard again anyway so thats that.
If Hopkins was to come out swinging like he did against Pavlik and Kessler was to do the same, this would be an explosive fight, and win or lose for Kessler if he was to put up a good fight against Hopkins (on a good hopkins night LOL!!) he would be an instant star in the US IMO.
                What are your thoughts everybody!!??
                GO KING KESSLER!!!!
Kessler is a fraud he wants no real competition and Hopkins would **** him worse then he did Kelly.

i dont think this fight is likely to happen but it would be a good fight in my opinion...not exactly PPV worthy but still very exciting...

i think it makes more sense for hopkins to rematch calzaghe than fight kessler...it would make a bigger statement on his resume if he could win the calzaghe rematch and i believe if it came down to those two guys he'd go for the calzaghe rematch.

if calzaghe can befuddle kessler, hopkins definitely can.

as for the match up, hopkins isn't prolonging his career to clean up calzaghe's left overs. calzaghe should fight hopkins in a rematch.
