Yeah maybe, lets not forget his lay off. He is quick & crafty enough to out box Margarito, who has proven a number of times he can be out boxed. But if he gains momentum in the later rounds and cranks up his work rate as usual, I wonder if Floyd could handle the pressure?

Mayweather is the one guy I've seen that appears to have no weakness against another style. He's done well against every style that's been thrown at him. He dominated pressure fighters like Chavez and Hatton, KO'd big punchers like Corrales and counterpunched the fastest fighter in the world Judah. I think weight is the only way Mayweather could ever lose, and it looks like it would take a middleweight to get it done.

The Castillo fight could have gone either way. Overall I don't think Floyd dealt with Castillo's style very well over their two fights. I agree though, Floyd's adaptability is up there with the best I have seen.

some people would have you believe that both fights weren't close.

Floyd would probably be on his bike all fight and not even try to engage as he knows one solid punch from Marg could seriously hurt him and there would be every chance that once hurt Marg could knock him out. Saying that and knowing Floyd, he wouldn't even go near Marg, running shoes on all night, so no danger.

Are you sure? I don't think I have ever heard anyone say the first fight wasn't close. I scored it to Mayweather by a point but I could easily see that being reversed or at least a draw.

Yes, he would. He'd probably win 8 rounds at the least. It'd still be fun to watch him do it though. Because there's really nothing Floyd can throw that will keep Marg from moving forward. He'd have to put in one of his best defensive performances to date.

Floyd would show Cotto how to actually box Marg's ears off.

cause he did none of that in the fight right?

he made mistakes.mistakes that cost him the fight.
