I'll start. Yes, without a doubt. Margarito lacks the speed and technical ability to get it done against Mayweather. Floyd's defensive skills and countering would just take over the fight. Margarito would just never get going. Floyd is a guy that is more than happy to get on his bike and make a fight boring as hell and win a decision. Cotto failed because that is not the way he fights. He likes to engage, and that is not good when you are up against a bigger guy that is incapable of feeling physical pain.

Floyd would win. It would be Hatton Mayweather all over again. Margarito going into the right hand of Floyd. I don't know if he'd be knocked out though.

floyd cold beat margarito even if he was retired for 10 years. floyd beats margarito at any weight class. no contest. it's obvious. it's been obvious fpr years. he'll beat cotto at any weight also, no contest.

i doubt it.he's been inactive.margarito could either get humilitated or marga could wear him down.this is very much like the castillo fight.marga is lesser skilled than jlc but not by that much.he's bigger and stronger.floyd's lack of activity would hinder him in this match up, but maybe the cotto fight took something out of marga.the guy IS set to return a month before cotto is........so who knows.........

I seriously give Margarito no chance whatsoever. I give him the same chance I gave Hatton and Baldomir and that was: if Floyd breaks BOTH hands, he could lose. otherwise, not a chance in hell.

this would be a counter punching massacre only Margarito would never get hurt so he would just look ****** following Floyd around and taking shots to the kisser. Mayweather would land 60% of his punches and Margarito would think he won since he never went down
