You ought to make a Hopkins/Kessler topic man... it's interesting, and will be lost in this thread that is primarily supposed to be about Dawson/Kessler.

I detest **** like this simply because if Dawson fought and beat on Diaconu people would just say he is a bum after the fight. LAME.

You can't legitemately tell me you think Diaconu is a bigger threat than Tarver or Johnson. You CAN'T be trying to tell me that.

Either way, it doesn't really matter.

Diaconu's talent isn't going anywhere for a while.

Fighting Tarver and Johnson now was imperative because they aren't getting any younger, and the sooner you can fight them, the more credit you will get for beating them.

Dawson needs to fight some top contenders as well as the ageing fighters. It is not as if beating Tarver and Johnson has done that much for his resume assuming he fights on and beats other fighters in the coming years.

I'd love to see Dawson v kessler. I'd be supporting Kessler but I'd find it a tough right to pick. Perhaps Dawson by decision, but Kessler has the power to KO Dawson no doubt.

Kessler will never fight Dawson.......If he ducked Edison Miranda I HIGHLY DOUBT he'll be stepping in the ring with Chad.

HE didn't duck Miranda at all. His management waffled a bit and by the time they agreed to terms, Abraham had stepped in and scooped the fight. It was a negotiating tactic that backfired.

No. Try reading what I wrote please. I only stated that it can be ARGUED. It really isn't so difficult to comprehend.

That's right. No question that Team Kessler treated the first round of negotiations bad. Esecially when one considers that they managed to p!ss off showtime in the process.
