look at this fight unbiased and see that speed skills and chins goes to pauli
hatton has rough house tactics little bit of power and nothing else

i think pauli could tko hatton, hatton has eaten too many pies and twice against lazcano who is light years from what he use to be really hurt him, hatton won the fight but to an extent gained less from winning as i personally have never seen hatton get hit so much, he took it and had good stamina and to be fair visably look nervious... i think pauli should be able to keep hatton off him tie him up when needed, buddy mcgirt is a good tactical trainer and he knows how good pauli is on his day... the guy fought cotto and went 12 hard rounds with miguel who in hindside showed that pauli has an awesome chin and can fight through adversity...

the odds makers favour hatton massively i think he is 1/3 to win and pauli is 5/2... pauli schooled lovemore in their first fight but then broke his hand in round 5 or 6... so he did well to just sneak the decision!!!

i think hatton has regressed seriously, lazcano has been inactive since he got sparked out by harris (witter sparked him) so for me the fight was poor choice in the first place, hatton won every round but he did get hit alot and with someone like pauli who is in his prime should be able to outscore hatton on his way to split decision as i think hatton will be the aggressive fighter but i think pauli will just fire combos and stick and move!!!

lol, it's a mismatch. Don't worry about it.

The way I see it. Hatton has the better footspeed, the far better punching power. Paulie has a nice fast Jab, he is not particularly slick and most importantly he fights, Paulie also has nothing on the inside. To the poster above I don't really like Hatton actually his style at times resembles 'an angry schoolboy in a playground'.

Basically Hatton got on the inside against Mayweather, he's not going to find hard to do the same to Malignaggi in comparison. Mayweather ****d him on the inside anyway, Paulie can't do that. Fundamentally you do need to hurt Hatton to win and I don't believe he Paulie can do that at all. He also can't win it by maintaining a distance and flipping out that Jab Hatton will close that distance so quickly, and Paulie will be a spoon trying to hold back a typhoon, or a kindly old grandmother trying to fend off a vicious mugger. It's not like Hatton is slow and Malignaggi can keep switching the focus of attack and befuddling him. Malignaggi has an advantage in handspeed, but that is not enough.

I could be wrong, but I really don't see how Malignaggi wins. If he does I give him all the credit in the world. You won't hear me say Hatton has slipped, Paulie shouldn't be beating Ricky Hatton.

explain why pauli should not be beating hatton

dont you think cotto is an aggressive fighter and closes the distance down, sufficates his opponent excellent body punch, harder punching power than hatton closes the distance well do you know what the scores were???

judge: Don Trella 115-112 | judge: Glenn Feldman 116-111 | judge: Peter Trematerra 116-111 (with a knock down)

now you think this is a mismatch, you think hatton is so good

cotto would knock hatton the **** out!!! pauli made it a close fight i just think people are seriously seriously underestimating pauli who to be fair his gonna surprise alot of people!!!

You can't compare the two. And that Cotto was not the same fighter at 140 he was suffering at that weight.

Cotto takes rounds off, boxes neatly at times, Hatton doesn't do that. He's about as measured in his approach as a bull in a china shop. Styles make fights and I don't see Paulie having enough tools to beat Ricky.

I like Paulie and I think he done well to beat Ngoudjo and gut it out in the return against Ndou and like you say hang in there with Cotto. But in this fight....I just can't see it.

We aren't going to convince eachother and you can bump my post of it turns out i'm horribly wrong. Boxing is subjective we all get it wrong but I can't fathom a Paulie win unless I actually see it. And I would be shocked as f.uck.

Paulie can dance around as much as he wants, and maybe get a new haircut in between rounds if necessary. He will get an ass kicking.

i think pauli could tko hatton,
??? A guy who has only Ko'd 5 people three of those in his first 3 fights against a guy who has been KO'd once in his career...

Lazcano hits way harder than Maggi and he couldn't KO hatton what in the world makes you think Maggi can.
