Dunno...I'm about as non-bias as anyone, and that butt sure looked like it was only meant to appear unintentional. The way he dropped his head quick as he saw Zaggs coming in and popped it right up into his face. Bernard sees everything, he knew where Calzaghe's head was, and what was going to happen when his head popped up like it did. It wasn't as blatant as some intentional headbutts I've seen, very subtle, but I don't believe it was any accident.Comment

That gif is proof most fans don't know what they're looking at. 1 - that **** is in slow motion. You all need to see how that looks in real time. In no way did Hopkins do that intentionally. 2 - Calzaghe is lunging in (that's right, it's Joe with all the unguarded forward momentum) recklessly at Hopkins head first at what BHop looks to interpret as a left hook upstairs. Turns out it's an awkward left to the body, but there's no time to discern that. Hopkins gets under what he thinks is coming upstairs and lets loose.Comment

righttttttttttttt so all the fans and boxing media who had hopkins winning are biased? how about the 2 judges who didn't score the fight correctly? it's a lot easier to say 2 people are biased than a million. but whatever you think oscar and calzaghe won cause they "looked" busier. i have a bridge i'd like to sell you.
I'm sorry your guy lost, but lose he did. If he'd put on a performance against Calzaghe like he did against Pavlik, I'd have no problem giving him the fight. Not sure whether he just wasn't in the same condition, or if he was simply unable to shut Zaggs down like he did Pavlik. Bernard just did not work enough to win that fight. You can keep on thinking otherwise, but the people that mattered scored it for Calzaghe. And if you want to use Adelaide Byrd as the anchorpoint in your argument...well, check out her inconsistant record as a judge. Sure, there were a number of people, both at ringside and elsewhere, that scored it for Bernard. So that's never happened before, guys at ringside scoring differently than the judges in a relatively close fight? Get over it already.Comment

He dropped his head because Calzaghe was throwing a left. He then raised his head as he attempted to counter punch. I think it's a case of Calzaghe's head being in the wrong place at the wrong time and Hopkins took advantage of it since he had to raise his head at the moment.Dunno...I'm about as non-bias as anyone, and that butt sure looked like it was only meant to appear unintentional.
