First of all, I'm no casual fan. We finally get to see what kind of arrogant prick Joe really is after observing him in his own element.

One thing i will give Joe credit for is being a good father. I def. endorse that, being a father of a 2 year old boy myself. Overall, it does not change my thinking of him in general though.

Joe did'nt really offend me.
I take it that it was not aired in the UK? If not, heres a little tid-bit. Joe is confident, and there's no problem with being so. But, when you go over board saying that there was no way he has a chance while basically belittling him after trying so hard to get the fight is ridiculous. Joe should be talking about how hard the fight will be instead of admitting that he took an easy fight against an older legend. It's a joke , really and makes him look like he's taking the easy road again.

Later in the show, Joe shows how arrogant and self centered he is by demanding his girfriend to bring his dinner while playing video games and looking on the internet with his sons. He talked to her like she was a servant and not somebody who he is supposed to care about deeply, etc.. I think it reflects on his overall personality, really. No need to think that it's just because he is cranky from training, etc.. He's just an *******, period. I bet he does'nt talk to her like that when he's trying to get laid by her fine ass.

I watched it when someone posted it in the videos section.

It's just hype and trash talking for the fight. He knows it will be a tough fight but he wants to make himself out to be better and bigger than Roy Jones because it just makes him look better and sells the fight.

As for the girlfriend thing, i think you took it the wrong way. He was just joking around when he said that. I've heard it said many a time, my dad has said it to my mum loads of times when he gets in from work (and no he is not a wifebeater lol). Maybe the humour in America is a bit different to over here.

I can tell the difference between being serious and playful. He started the whole thing being serious as hell and started playing with it after realizing that he was being recorded so closely. Acceptable would have been to say it once, but 3-4 times was pointing to his real personality. I respect what him and his father have done, but it does not give them the right to think they are above the people who cater to them, even if they are being paid. Simple as that.

I'm no pansy at all, just making a point by giving details about Joe's self centered personality. Find a way to see the show and judge for yourself. If he was farting around, so be it. I do the same. The difference is that I damn sure don't harp on things like that with my ol'lady. When i'm mad, she knows it. But I damn sure don't treat her like a servant or something. -end.
