I'm a brit but the only man i'm routing for is Haye. I like Hatton, but prefer Paulie......and Calzaghe......well,...................he's facing RJJ. No way i route for the opposite man when Jones is in the ring...... Plus, i don't like Joe so that swings it.

Then he's saying if he beats .................he will be the best p.f.pound fighter in the world!
To my recollection he only said that about Mayweather, and face it IF he had beaten Mayweather he could argueably been classed the best P4P in the world, he didn't so he isn't.

As for the ref comment I saw that press conference what he actually said was "the ref took away any chance I had to win", thats isn't say that he would have won, just that the ref took away the only way he could have won. I don't think even a Hatton hater would dispute that.

And No i don't think Hatton at his very best could beat a Mayweather at anythiong above 50%.

Im from the UK, HAYE is what boxing is all about a fresh Big Puncher who likes to take risks and has charisma and skill too, i root for him against any HW!
Will he beat em all? He has a shot but im well aware of his limitations ie. weak chin, less than great stamina and that his do or die attitude could be his undoing so i doubt he cleans up but he will be exciting while he's in there!

Joe - he does my nut in! HORRIBLE messy ugly slapping southpaw style, his showboating is just awkward and annoying, i dont really like him as a guy either, not particuarly anyway. Sure he is good, best of the 3 probably but he aint half the guy some think, a prime Toney would tear him to bits! I Hope he dont retire Undefeated coz the BS Hype will be unreal!

Ricky is a guy i used to be a mad fan of but have gone off a bit of late.
Good to watch, good interview and gets the fringe fans watching.
Im still a fan, he will beat Mallinaggi's ass for sure

I like Haye and Calzaghe, both awesome fighters who always bring excitement. Never really been a fan of Hatton, i don't like his style of fighting and he has looked poor in his last couple of outings.

Ricky used to be real exciting and i thought tho he looked vulnerable last time out he got back to that exciting style, alot less mauling and clinching

To me it's no different from playing the race card to promote a fight which is a terrible thing to do and why nobody does that anymore.

Joe's got a good though point and I too think all three fights favor the British in November. Hatton is the only fight I have almost no interest in. That one's going to be a snooze fest and I don't like Hatton much nor Malignaggi.

Totally agree with you, And thats my attitude towards boxing and boxers from the UK, I dont support them just because they're from mine country, I follow them but am not a fanatic, Thats why i critise them when i feel they need to be critise while other lick their behind like they're on their payroll.

I’m not very found of excessive nationalism either, unless it comes to sport. And I do believe that especially in the U.K. nationalism is the necessary key for drawing attention to boxing (they’re a proud people, and should be – who else dared to challenge Adolf without themselves being attacked first).

If you read the sports pages in a British daily, it’s 50 pages of soccer and that’s it. Most of the Brits would never have known a phenomenon like Jones Jr. exists, if it wasn’t for him now fighting Joe (but they do know the latest player joining the Hucknall Town FC). Therefore I like Joe Slapzaghe speaking in soccer terms. Britain victorious by three-nil. It adds a bit extra to the pre-fight building.

Hatton will lose. Haye will win. Joe might win, but I think he'll lose closely.
