I don't think it would matter as long as he keeps winning and winning impressively against the top guys in or around his division, didn't stop Ricardo Lopez, not comparing them or anything, just saying, weight doesn't matter as long as the fighter is good enough.

donaire already has one loss but he can achieve some glory at the superflyweight division because that weightclass is loaded with great fighters

Corrales wasnt the most skilled fighter in the world. Donaire already shows more boxing ability than Diego ever had.

That does not mean he is a better fighter.
Pure boxing skills are great, but they do not always result in victory.

By "better", I think he meant he was a more well rounded fighter. I like Donaire, but thus far it would be ridiculous to say he is better career-wise.

These are trainer observations based on what they see from workouts. They're not saying "better" in a literal sense but obviously several trainers see Donaire as a monster in the ring and his potential to be a multi weight champ.
