Hopkins is still bitter because Calzaghe beat him at his own weight division.

Bernard was very fair here. He protested within right and made a good point on how Joe will have to deal with Jones to win. It is time to be honest, he's not a perfect fighter and this isn't automatic, the deck is a little stacked in Roy's favor. If Roy even gets Joe to look half the way BHop did, he's not getting out of the Garden undefeated. Jones/Hopkins 2 is on the horizon if Jones wins, and that will be billed as a HUGE fight by HBO. Calzaghe IS in trouble if he doesn't look sharp. Think. There's no incentive to give him a close decision if he retires right afterward with that kind of money on the table.

It wasn't a controversial decision, but it was a decision that could have gone either way. I personally thought Bhop did enough to win, but 2 out of 3 judges disagreed. It wasn't a clear cut decision, and I would love to see them go at it again. I doubt Calzaghe gives him a rematch though. But we'll see after Jones beats him what he'll do.

If Joe throws constant slaps and couldn't hurt Nard, then why did he spend most of the fight running, moving back wards, and avoiding a fight? That must make him worse, like some kind of super *****.

Roy himself recognises and says Calzaghe can hit hard hence hand problems, and that he throws the odd hard shot amongst more cautious ones.

Cry us another river Nard, Joe won't re match you, Roy just changed his mind and said he might for the money hence you want him to win even more now.

His comments weren't as ****ish as I was expecting, but he still seems bitter.

He officially lost the fight. In the opinion of most experts, Calzaghe deserved the decision. In the opinion of most posters here, Calzaghe deserved the decision.

Associated Press, Yahoo, and ESPN scored the bout 114-113 for Hopkins.

Hopkins should have won, Calzaghe punches were not having a effect

Hopkins wants Roy to win because that way he still has a possible chance at a payday with him if it gets done. Otherwise i dont think hopkins would really give a **** who wins
