If you really think Barrera runs from no one you must have not followed Barrera's career closely and I guess that ends this discussion .... b!tch!

What a ****n ******ed thread. I love both guys but if either is more of a warrior I would go with Morales. He knew full well that he was totally outgunned in his third Pac fight but he went down swinging. Barrera on the other hand boxed at a safe distance in his rematch with Manny. Both are warriors for sure but no way is Barrera a bigger warrior than Morales. Again, ******ed thread.

cool vid loc, reminds me just how exciting Barrera used to be before the Jones fight(before he went into mostly boxing) he was a killer, and his fights with Morales are classic! Probably one of my favoirte trilogy. I wonder if Barrera didn't take a break or hadn't lost to Jones would Morales been as big or would Barrera still have the scene on lock.

One thing that no one is saying or admiting or maybe havn't thought about it. But Barrera is a natural JR. Featherweight, he only moved up in weight to fight Morales. Barrera unlike Morales and Pacquiao was the smaller man going up in weight to face the naturally bigger men no surprise Barrera looks pudgy at 130 its not his natural weight where as Morales and Pacquioa still looks ripped. Even though i have dislike Barrera for a minute cause of his boxing style and Rocky fights, i was a big Barrera fan and Barrera was a monster and more known then Morales, and thats why im not sure if Morales would of been as big if Barrear hadnt lost to Jones then taken a year or more off. Barrera was a great fighter no doubt and im a fan of his again, Morales is great too, but he did fill the void while Barrera was out of boxing and on his comback - people thought Barrear was through as a fighter, **** i thought he's was through when he fought Hamed, Barrera going toe to toe with Marquez shows the greatness of Barrera too bad we didnt' get a chance to see Marquez v. Morales i don't fault either though the rumore faults Marquez but i know at the time Morales was a cash cow for Arum and Marquez was too dangerous for Morales which is why i don't buy it that Marquez didn't want to fight Morales. Either way, the Great Three of Mexico will live on forever, Barrera, Marquez, Morales in the order that they first stepped on the scene.

I can't imagine that you can fault Morales for "quitting" against Pacquiao in the third fight then, because... Morales was FAR from his prime at that point.

they are both warriors but Barrera is the smarter fighter who does not get drawn in half as much as El Terrible used to

Please, the only thing that helped Barrera last longer was the fact that he adopted "boxing."

Morales just foolishly thought he could last with HIS WARRIOR style.

Morales beat the guys Barrera couldn't touch. Morales deserves his respect, but I think you prove that Englishmans oppinion means exact s#$%.

I mean I always knew somthin was off with your logic when discussin Morales, but that flag seals the deal.

                    You're no more then a Barrera fan-boy.
