They both fought Cortes.. Angulo 1KO and looked good doing it. Kirkland KO2 and looked wild with his punches and got rocked a few times.

Angulo fought the top contender Guiterrez. that only had one close majority decision loss to Clottey. Angulo KO'd him in 5.

He also Ko'd the top contender Tsurkan in a one sided beat down.

      Who has Kirkland fought?

Well you got me there I really dont know but I think Kirkland trains multible situtations, and Angulo does not, and would prove to be better as the fight processes. Just pick Kirkland to whup that ass from what I seen of him, even tho Kimbo was in Angulos corner.

If you've actually watched the majority of their fights, you'd find that Angulo has shown more poise, patience and variety in his fights where as Kirkland has stuck with just one strategy.

Angulo, though he isn't a GREAT boxer, knows how to stick the jab and can take quite a punch. Because of Angulos boxing ability and power, I would favor him in a match between the two. I need to see Kirkland do more than just go in for the kill because he's already been in trouble a few times. He's already been down once and has been wobbly a couple of times in his fights.

Both are 2 great prospects though. Can't wait for them to be in the limelight of the sport because they represent it so well.

            Word.
As it stands now, Angulo is the more polished fighter and has beaten better competition, looking better doing it.
I pick Angulo in four if the fight happens soon.
BTW there is a good chance the Kirkland hype train derails on the 22, courtesy of Brian Vera.

I agree. It doesn't make sense for them to fight until one of them has a title.
